ABOUT US
UNITING FOR A STRONGER FUTURE
Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. This project unites local organizations, including the Beloit Senior Center, Beloit Ministerial Alliance, MCHHS Auxiliary, Mitchell County Regional Medical Foundation, Flint Hills area Agency on Aging, and more in a shared vision to create a space that meets the evolving needs of our community.

Connecting Lives,
STRENGTHENING COMMUNITIES.
At Community Commons, we're building more than just a space- we're creating a foundation for connection, support, and growth. Located in the heart of Beloit, Kansas, our new community center will serve as a hub for resources, activities, and shared experiences for all generations.

The Communmity Commons facility presents an opportunity to enhance the impact of the Food Pantry by providing a more spacious and efficient environment to store and distribute food resources. The expanded capacity will enable the organziation to reach a greater number of individuals and families who are facing food insecurity, ultimately promoting better health outcomes and overall quality of life for our community members.

By working together, citizens of our area, including citizens from early childhood to post-retiremet, will be able to access many needed services all under one roof. The benefits will be far-reaching and will serve our Beloit area for decades to come.

The proposed community center building would serve so many important roles in our community and our county! As our population ages and the needs of our communities continue to grow, having appropriate, accessible space for our Beloit Senior Center, economy shop, Mitchell County food pantry, and more is becoming increasingly important. This project will also help streamline the number of volunteers currently needed to run all of these entities which are located all across town.
