OUR VISION
The Beloit Senior Center has contracted with Agora Atchietects and Schwab-Eaton to develop plans, renderings, and an overall estimated cost for the proposed Community Commons building. Throughout the design process, each entity that will have a place in the new building collaborated and provided input for their exact needs in the new building. From larger spaces to donation drop-offs, prep areas, a commercial kitchen, and more, the new building will effectively meet all the needs of the Beloit Senior Center, Mitchell County Food Pantry, and MCHHS Auxiliary Economy Shop to ensure the sustainability of these services for decades to come. A new commercial kitchen will also allow the Meals on Wheels program to be housed in Beloit in some capacity moving forward as currently all meals are prepped and delivered from Glen Elder.
